Kenya, officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in Africa and a founding member of the East African Community (EAC). Its capital and largest city is Nairobi. With an affluent urban minority, Kenya is the biggest and most advanced economy in east and central Africa. The country is classified as a frontier market or an emerging market. Agriculture is the largest employer and the country has a flourishing tea and coffee export industry. The service industry is also an economic contributor.
